Recent Recalls: Mockingbird Strollers, IKEA LETTAN Mirrors, STIHL Docking Stations

Mockingbird Single Strollers are being recalled because of reports of cracks in the frame.

Mockingbird Strollers are made of aluminum and are black or silver in color. The seats are black, and the canopies are available in black, light blue, dark blue, pink and light green. The recall expansion includes Mockingbird Single Strollers with a lot number between 18322 and 22278, and lot numbers 23174 and 23175 only. The lot number is a five-digit number that can be found on the white product label located on the inner left side of the stroller frame near the top of the basket.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Single strollers and contact Mockingbird to receive a free frame reinforcement kit, which includes two frame clamps that attach to the sides of the stroller to reinforce the frame. Mockingbird is contacting all known purchasers directly.

The firm has received 13 reports of cracks in the frame of Single Strollers. No injuries to children in the strollers have been reported.

The strollers were sold online at hellomockingbird.com, babylist.com and goodbuygear.com from March 2020 through March 2023 for between $350 and $450.

IKEA LETTAN Mirrors

IKEA is recalling all sizes of LETTAN flat mirrors. IKEA has received 55 incident reports globally, and one U.S. report of the plastic fittings coming loose and the mirror falling off the wall.

The mirrors are frameless, about 38 inches high and were sold in 23, 31, 39 and 47 inches wide.  The recalled mirrors have a date stamp before and including 2105 (YYWW). The date stamp is in (YYWW) format where the first two digits represent the year and the last two digits represent the week of manufacture. The date stamp is located on the back of the mirror.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mirrors and contact IKEA to order a free set of replacement wall fittings and instructions. Alternatively, customers can return the mirror to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required to receive a full refund.

The mirrors were sold at IKEA stores nationwide and online at IKEA.com from December 2019 through October 2022 for between $23 and $56.

STIHL Docking Stations

STIHL is recalling docking stations sold with STIHL iMOW® robotic lawn mowers.

The docking station’s printed circuit board can short circuit when exposed to moisture, posing a fire hazard.

The docking stations are gray and orange. “iMOW” is displayed on the top of the mower and “STIHL” is displayed on the top of the mower and the top of the docking station. The recalled docking station’s serial number is located on a label at the base of the docking station. The following models and serial numbers are included in this recall.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled STIHL iMOW docking stations and contact STIHL or an authorized STIHL servicing dealer for a free at-home repair of their docking station.

STIHL has received eight reports of thermal overheating including two reports of fire. No injuries have been reported.

The devices were sold by authorized STIHL independent dealers nationwide from January 2017 through July 2022 for between $1,400 and $2,600 for the iMOW and docking station.
